Swimming

Hey everybody recently we started swimming! I have had lots of fun because we have been doing so much fun stuff!

We have a swimming teacher that comes and sees our skills!

I crashed into the wall while swimming... (Ouch)

We are also going to Jelly Park tomorrow (I can't wait!)

The Eco Depot Trip!

Hey everyone, the other day we had a trip to the Eco Depot! We learnt about lots of stuff such as worm farms!  We also learned about Heat compost bins! There are lots of layers inside, a heat compost bin needs heat, water, green foods (Grass and lettuce etc), brown foods (such as leafs and hey), MicroOrganisms and air

My favourite part was learning about MicroOrganisms! MicroOrganisms are Microscopic Living Creatures.
The day after the trip I was researching about some and I found this one called the Water Bear↴
The Water Bear can survive for millions of years!

Ura Manuka Kapa Haka Festival 2017

Hey everyone! Recently Gilberthorpe School went to the Ura Manuka Kapa Haka Festival!
I had lots of fun and I think that we did really good! I was super worried before we went up but
everyone did great!    I can't wait for the next performance. There was lots of other schools that performed and they did pretty good aswell!
