How to Play Droughts

In the past few weeks we have been working on instructions for a game.
I did mine on droughts. Please give me feedback, enjoy!

If you can play checkers you can play droughts! Droughts is a game where there is a red team and a black team of counters. There is a board with black and white squares and the red goes on black, black goes on white. Each team starts on a side. The goal is to knock the team out, you might be wondering how? Well you have to jump over the players circle and they get knocked off the board. Once you get to the end you put one of yours on top of it and you can move backwards now (You can’t move backwards if you haven’t reached the end) There are some rules that my family has made. If you lose the winner gets to dare the loser to do something. If you want to make it interesting you can make it so all the circles can go backwards you can get into some sticky situations. You can also trap people if you go in front of them.

1:   Jumping over players does not always work. Sometimes just go pass them to get to the end.
2:    Move your counter in the places that the opponent would usually think you wouldn’t go.
3:    Moving backwards can be key but, remember you can’t move backwards until you reach the end. So always reach the end when you can.
4:    Zooming ford doesn’t always work, sometimes you need to go diagonal to win.

You know if you won if all the other players counters are off the board.
When the game is over you can do a dare.

This game is really fun and doesn’t get old! This game is so fun you should try it if you haven’t.
