Bob Geldof and Midge Ure
Bob Geldof is a singer / musician who was in the group "Boomtown Rats". The reason he wanted to help the famine in Ethiopia is because it was widely shown on TV. He then released "Do they know its Christmas time". He was then the main organises in the Live Aid Concert and helped raise money for it, he essentially used his fame to bring attention to the issue.
Midge Ure was one of the members in the band Ultravox. He also helped Bob Geldof produce "Do they know its Christmas time" and helped raise money for the Live Aid.
Hey Aryan, I like how you put a picture of both Famous Band-aid. I also like how you Explain the history of there life and how did they involved in the Band-Aid.Maybe next time put an Introduction so you can get people attention like they will know who your blogging it for and what the task is, but you done well, Really really goo blog post.

ReplyDeleteYour blogpost is really interesting, and I appreciated how you added photos to acutally show us what Bob & Midge looked like because of course we wouldnt know them. I think maybe next time add some more interesting details about Midge, because we dont really know much about him, interesting facts helps alot when trying to understand someone, but other that I really enjoyed reading your blogpost.
